Small Projects presents "A FRIENDLY FRIENDLY WORLD", a solo show of recent works by Clemens Wilhelm (*1980 Berlin), an artist & filmmaker based in Berlin whose practice ranges from film/video to photography and performance.

The show combines three videos: "A HORSE WITH WHEELS"(2017), "SIMULACRA" (2015) & "CONTACT" (2013).

Clemens Wilhelm studied at HBK Braunschweig (Germany) in the classes of Candice Breitz and Michael Brynntrup. His work has been shown at numerous festivals and exhibitions, such as the Centre Pompidou Paris, CFCCA Manchester, RAM Shanghai, Guangdong Times Museum, CCA Glasgow, Edinburgh Arts Festival, Loop Festival Barcelona, WRO Biennale Wroclaw, RAM Galleri Oslo and Anthology Film Archives New York. Wilhelm has received several awards, including the Tate Artist Rooms’ Joseph Beuys Residency at Timespan Museum Helmsdale and the 1st Prize at the Now & After Video Art Festival Moscow.
