Franck Dubois is a french sound artist born in 1968. He develops recurring questions covering interrelated issues such as attention, time, space and their relationship to the sound that unified them. He began working with the question of temporality through photography in 1992, and gradually his research and work turned towards the sound space.

Franck Dubois has worked as an artist since 1992 and has on several occasions, stayed in the Norwegian Arctic. Among other things, he has wintered several times in Nyksund where he has had exhibitions and residencies, and recorded sound in the seed bank on Svalbard.
