Critical Architectural Debate
20. October 2021, 19:30
How can we build a broader debate for a better city? In collaboration with Small Projects and the Northern Norwegian Architects' Association, the project "Romlig Kritikk" (Spatial Criticism) invites you to byromskritikk i Tromsø (urban space criticism in Tromsø).
With voices from the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture and culture, we want to carve our way into the local urban space debate with a critical look at use and potential. We also raise the question as to whether we need the local architectural critique - and if so: how can we strengthen it?
The panel consists of:
Heidi Bjøru, city planner in Tromsø municipality. Ann-Kjersti Johnsen, landscape architect at Asplan Viak Karl Kristian Hansen, cultural worker Tvibit. To lead the conversation, we have with us Nordlys' political commentator Maja Sojtaric.
The event takes place under the auspices of "Romlig Kritikk" (Spatial Criticism), which consists of writing workshops and debates on architectural criticism in Bergen, Tromsø and Oslo this autumn. Read the interview with initiator Astrid Fadnes in Arkitekturnytt.
Wine and refreshments are served. Welcome!
